The manufacturing and installation of nearly 2000 tons of structural steel for the logistics building of EGGER/AUSTRIA, a global wood-based products manufacturer, at its factory in Gebze Plastikçiler Organized Industrial Zone (OSB), were successfully completed.

EGGER is an international manufacturer of wood-based materials, headquartered in St. Johann, Tyrol, Austria, and has been in operation since 1961. The company has 22 production facilities worldwide and employs over 11,000 people. EGGER's Gebze facility in Turkey was established in 1996 and became part of the EGGER Group in 2010. This facility is one of the group’s two edge banding production plants.

Within this project, DOKA Endüstri successfully carried out the manufacturing and installation of the logistics building’s structural steel at EGGER’s factory in Gebze Plastikçiler Organized Industrial Zone. Approximately 2000 tons of steel were produced in DOKA Endüstri’s Hendek/Sakarya facility within a short timeframe, and the installation was completed on schedule by the assembly team.
The timely and successful completion of this project has significantly contributed to the efficiency of EGGER’s operations in Turkey.
