New Ercan Airport / TRNC

Within the scope of the contract signed between T&T Company and DOKA Endüstri, the manufacturing and installation of all structural steel and façade cladding of the airport’s central building, weighing approximately 5000 tons, were successfully completed within the project timeline.

The New Ercan Airport is located in the Geçitkale region, 13 kilometers east of Nicosia, the capital of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). As the largest and most modern airport in the TRNC, it significantly contributes to enhancing the region's transportation infrastructure.

Under the contract signed between T&T Company and DOKA Industry, the manufacturing and assembly of all structural steel and facade cladding for the airport's central building have been successfully carried out. This includes essential construction processes such as the design, production, and assembly of steel structures, as well as the installation of facade cladding.

All operations were completed on time within the project duration, and the new terminal was opened for service in July 2023. This new terminal offers passengers a comfortable travel experience with its modern design and advanced infrastructure.

The construction of the New Ercan Airport aims to strengthen the TRNC's international transportation network and contribute to the region's economic development. The modern structure and facilities of the airport enhance the tourism and trade potential of the area.
